The cast and crew of ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’ returned to the ABC studios for the final episode of their 2016 series on Monday.
As the final season of the ABC sitcom wraps up, host Jimmy Fallon took to Twitter to announce his return.
“Tonight’s episode will be the final one of ‘TNT’ season 3,” he wrote.
“It will be a lot of fun!”
The final season will be filmed for three months.
“TNT” is the longest-running late night comedy in the US.”TNT’s” new season begins with a special ‘Toonami’ special from Saturday, December 18, at 9:30pm ET/PT.
“The Tonight Game” returns for the third time on Monday, November 28 at 9pm ET.
The first of these episodes, “The Night Before Christmas,” will air on December 1.
The second episode, “A Day in the Life,” will debut on December 14.
The final episode, which has been written and directed by David Goyer, will also feature an appearance by The Joker, played by Michael B. Jordan.
“It’s a great honour to have Jimmy Fallon back in our lives,” said “Tonight” host Matt Lauer, who also co-hosted “Toonamax” on CBS.
“The last episode of ‘TTS’ is about as far as we can get from the days when ‘The Night of the Comet’ aired, so it’s really bittersweet.”
“We were really happy to get him back on the air, he’s really funny, he really has an awesome voice, and he has such a great sense of humour.
He’s so fun to be around.
I don’t think anyone can ever imagine a better host to be in our midst.”
The episode’s cast includes Chris Pratt, who played Harry Potter’s nemesis in “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2”; Jason Sudeikis, who plays Captain America; Josh Gad, who stars as Black Widow; and Jason Segel, who is best known for his role in “Sicario”.
“The Last King of Scotland,” played by Mark Rylance, is played by Chris O’Dowd.
“Dancing With the Stars” will also return to ABC on November 29, and ABC News will televise “TNG Daytime” on November 23.

The video was filmed at the ABC Studios in Sydney, Australia, which will air in Australia and New Zealand on Sunday, November 27 at 8:30am ET.
