Facebook is rolling out new apps for Discord on Android and iOS, and its web chat service is getting its own browser extension.
Discord is also expanding to mobile, launching a new version of the app for Android and iPhone on Friday.
The company announced the extension on Friday, just in time for the company’s Halloween weekend, as part of a series of changes that will see more features added to the chat app.
The new app will bring a slew of new features, including more social integration, better voice chat and a new option for sending text messages, according to Facebook.
The extension also adds a new button to the app, which will let you search for a specific conversation topic.
The new app also includes support for a new web chat app called Slack, which can be used to communicate with the community.
“We’re excited to finally bring Discord to Android and our iOS community.
The latest version of Discord is the most comprehensive, easy-to-use, and secure mobile chat app available today, and we’re excited about how Discord will enhance your everyday life,” said Ryan Fagan, head of mobile, in a Facebook post announcing the update.”
As the leading voice for social communication, Discord is a perfect match for Facebook’s platform for both personal and professional use,” he added.
The app is available on Google Play, iOS, Amazon, and Windows Phone, and the extension is available for $0.99.
